Estimated Accommodation Costs On-Campus Housing
$25,820 – $36,840 MXN pesos per semester approximately, meals not included.
Food
Around $5,000 pesos per month
Local Transportation
Buses are cheap, taxis are not too expensive. Plan on spending $1,000 pesos per month
Academic Costs
$5,000 pesos. Textbooks run about $1,000 pesos each, but can be more expensive.
Personal Expenses
Movies are cheap $60 – $80 pesos. A night at the club can cost up to $500 pesos.
IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL COSTS
Students must consider the following costs:
Travel expenses between home country and Puebla, Mexico and during vacation periods.
Large purchases (such as computers, furniture, etc…)
International Medical Insurance.
Medical expenses not covered by health insurance (eye care, dental care, and medical problems developed before arriving at the university).
Food and housing during school holidays. Refer to UDLAP´s School Calendar.
